Nana Ama Ampomah Urges NPP Leaders To Pay Attention To The Grassroots
The Ashanti Regional Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah has renderes a passionate appeal to the leaders of the ruling party and government appointees to give attention to the grassroots.
Nana Ama Ampomah said the leaders should recollect that the grassroots members worked earnestly for them to reach the apex and that they shouldn’t be underrated.
The NPP Women Organizer was speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show at Achiaakrom during the NPP Annual Regional Delegates Conference.
She bemoaned that some of the leaders have failed to answer phone calls or reply to text messages from the grassroots members.
Nana Ama Ampomah stressed that the leaders should help the grassroots members to get easy employment in the security agencies or any government institutions.
“If I work for the party and my ward can’t get the opportunity to be employed in the security agencies then why should I work for the party?” she asked.
Nana Ama Ampomah indicated that should there be a protocol for the security agencies, the members of the grassroots should be considered.
“Now we want to break the 8 and if the grassroots members are famished how can we break it?” the NPP Women Organizer further questioned.
