*NABCO TRAINEES WELCOME YOUSTART PROGRAM*

On the 4th of October 2022, the leadership of _*NABCO TRAINEES ASSOCIATION OF GHANA (NABTAG)*_ , presided by Dennis Opoku Katakyie, paid an official visit to the Chief Executive Officer of _*NATIONAL ENTERPRENEURSHIP & INNOVATION PROGRAM (NEIP)*_, Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah.
The visit was aimed at deliberating on the yet-to-be-launched YouStart initiative and jaw-jaw on leveraging every available avenue to prioritize the migration of NABCO beneficiaries with entrepreneurial ideas on the YouStart scheme.
With the current pool of remaining beneficiaries, notwithstanding the fact that not all of them may be entrepreneurial minded, a sizeable portion have feasible business ideas that could be translated into a business venture through the YouStart support, thereby contributing to the reduction of the unengaged number of trainees.
Dennis Opoku Katakyie, the National President of NABTAG, assured the CEO for the NEIP initiative, Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah that provided the YouStart initiative will be productively deployed, together with the national executives, they will support the process by playing a key advocacy role for the scheme.
The CEO of NEIP also propounded government’s commitment to ensuring that the YouStart inures to positively impact it’s beneficiaries, of which the just-exited NABCO Trainees form a larger part.
Let’s ready ourselves to take advantage of the YouStart initiative as arrangements are far advanced to launch it in no time.
