“My Health Policy Is Reward For Party People” —- Nana Gyamfi Asserts.
Kingsley Nana Gyamfi, aspiring constituency organizer for the Asokwa branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the health policy he has designed for the party was to show appreciation for the work done by polling station executives and other members in Asokwa.
Speaking to the media Wednesday morning at Lady Julia Clinic and Expert Medical Diagnostic Service at Kuwait Aprabo and Ahensan respectively where he launched the Asokwa Health Care Policy as well as the donation of medical supplies and equipment, the outgoing communications director said he was committed to the wellbeing of party members especially the female folk.
Nana Gyamfi explained that the policy is tailored in such a way that members who patronize the two facilities would pay nothing for the services they seek after.
‘’Party members on the scheme would have access to identity cards which would be scanned when they visit these outfits as verification before service and care could be commenced on them’’, the aspirant explained.
COMMITMENTS:
The aspirant, who is the outgoing Director of Communications at Asokwa said he would prosecute a grass-root concentrated mandate.
Rather than sitting at the office to carry out operations, the information Technology (IT) inclined person noted he would be visible in every community in Asokwa.
He also mentioned plans to use the links he has built at his previous office as constituency executive member and currently as law student to lobby for resources to carry out party work with polling station organisers in Asokwa.
‘’I am committed to the wellbeing and welfare of Asokwa residents and constituents especially polling station executives so I will use every avenue to seek support for the proper operation of my office as well as all polling station executives in Asokwa’’, Nana Gyamfi stated.
APPRECIATION:
On his part, Head of the Lady Julia facility, Dr Abraham Owusu Afram said the clinic was grateful for the gesture by Nana Gyamfi.
He mentioned that the items supplied such as oxygen masks, beds, wheelchairs and adult diapers as well as others were useful for the staff and patients at the clinic.
Dr Afram said he was very happy that Nana Gyamfi and his team including 1st Vice Chairman of the party, Edmund Kyei and Eric Adu Fosu, Deputy Secretary who accompanied had promised to provide the facility with a generator in three months time.
”This is the single headache at the facility since we only rely on power from the Electricity Company and anytime the lights go out this place becomes like a cemetery and we send out patients who need emergency treatment during such situations”, the Doctor tearfully remarked.
