Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako better known as Chairman Wontumi, has highlighted what he describes as his long-standing contributions to development, insisting that his commitment to service predates his current ambition for national office.
Speaking to some party members he said “I have always contributed to development where I can. My commitment to service did not begin today- it has been consistent.”
As part of his track record, he referenced his role in renovating the Central Mosque before Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s involvement in the project.
According to him, his history of support for community and party initiatives demonstrates his dedication and capacity to serve in a higher leadership role within the NPP.
Chairman Wontumi is seeking to lead the party into the 2028 elections as National Chairman
With his campaign gaining momentum, Wontumi maintains that experience, loyalty, and unity will be crucial pillars in leading the party back to government in 2028.
