Murdered Immigration Officer Promoted
The murdered Immigration Officer, AICO1 Michael Otoo has been promoted to posthumously to Immigration Control Officer (ICO).
The late AICO1 Michael Otoo was killed by unidentified persons whiles on duty at Hamile.
He left behind a 2-year-old child and a wife.
Crime scene experts of the Ghana Polive service, Defence Intelliegence operatives and other security personnel have been deployed to the Upper West Region to investigate the circumstances under which AICO Michael Otoo was shot dead.
Speaking during a visit to the family house of the deceased, the Head of Public Affairs of GIS, Superintendent Michael Amoako Atta assured that the criminals will be arrested.
Mother of the late Immigration Officer, Elizabeth Otoo said the death her son is a big blow to her and the entire family.
