MTN Ghana Rewards MoMo Agents

Mr Kelvin Atsu Wilson, CEO of Chafal Communications, has been crowned the winner of the MTN MoMo Agents Awards.

Mr Wilson wins a 2020 Toyota Rush mini 4×4 car as his prize.

The 2020 South East MoMo Agents Awards rewarded distinguished Agents and Merchants of the mobile money financial service in the Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta and Oti regions with prizes ranging from televisions sets, motorbikes and cash prizes.

In all, 28 Agents and Merchants were rewarded with twenty receiving televisions, three receiving motorbikes, two others receiving motorbikes and cash, and the first runner up and second runner up receiving motorbikes plus GH¢15,000.00 and GH¢10,000.00, respectively.

Mr Wilson expressed appreciation to Management of MTN Ghana for the award, indicating it would motivate him to work harder.

He dedicated the award to his Staff for their dedication, commitment and hard work, as well as to his clients.

Mr Eli Hini, General Manager of Mobile Money Limited, said the awards were to celebrate their partners and spur them on to do more.

He said they had distinguished themselves and deserved to be commended and celebrated, saying, they had been rewarding them since 2014.

He said even in COVID-19 and especially the lockdown period, the agents and merchants provided innovative and alternative ways to serve Ghanaians and that made this year’s event special.

Mr Hini, however, cautioned those who have been engaging in mobile money fraud to desist from it, indicating Management had received a lot of complaints from their customers and guilty agents would have their licenses revoked and the appropriate sanctions meted out to them.
