MTN FA Cup Round of 64: Asante Kotoko Face King Faisal As Hearts of Oak Host Accra Lions

The draw for MTN FA Cup Round of 64 was conducted on Tuesday with two in-form sides paired against each other as Kotoko face city rivals King Faisal in the biggest game of the round.

King Faisal and Kotoko are among top four teams after seven rounds of games in the Ghana Premier League and recently met in the league. King Faisal won the thrilling contest 3-2 to end Kotoko’s recent dominance over them.

Kotoko have the opportunity to avenge the defeat while King Faisal hope to secure another memorable victory over the sworn rivals.

The draw also revealed that defending champions Hearts of Oak will begin their defence of the trophy at home against top-flight newcomers Accra Lions.

The Western Region will witness the derby between Karela United and Medeama as the two sides will face off in the round of 64.
