Mother Of US-Based Ghanaian Woman Pushed To Death By Boyfriend Recounts Final Moments With Daughter

The mother of Brittany Boateng, a 29-year-old Ghanaian–American who was recently killed, has finally opened up about the demise of her daughter.

Brittany Boateng tragically lost her life on February 23, 2024, after allegedly being pushed into the path of an oncoming vehicle by her boyfriend, identified as Quincy, after an argument.

According to police reports, Brittany was hit by the vehicle, killing her instantly.

Several months after Brittany’s death, Eno Manu Adade, mother of the deceased, has recounted her final moments with her daughter and how she was informed of the tragic incident by the police.

In a post on her TikTok account, Eno Manu Adade said on the night of the incident, she received a message from her daughter professing her love to her.

“February 22nd of this year, I was on the night shift. I was at work around 11:30 pm when my daughter sent me a message saying ‘I love you mummy’ to which I replied the same. I asked her why she was still awake and she told me she had gone out and was returning home.

“So, I told her to get home on time to sleep since she will be going to work the following morning. I told her I will call her in the morning once I get home since I was on the night shift working,” she recalled.

According to her, she returned home the next morning from her night shift at the hospital only to receive calls from her husband, who is based in Ghana, as well as from other strange numbers.

“I came home in the morning from work only to start receiving strange calls from my husband in Ghana. He informed me to call his brother because Brittany has gotten involved in a police case. Trying to find out what happened, I called her friend who she was with last night and asked her the whereabouts of my daughter.

“She said ‘Ma’am she got into a fight with Quincy last night and she even made a video and sent it to you. And I think she is in her room sleeping because she has a red eye which I gave her medication for.’ I told her I’ve not been able to reach my daughter,” she added.

While still attempting to reach her daughter, Eno Manu said she received a call from the police informing her of the tragic incident.

“The police called me on the phone and introduced themselves. They asked me if I was Brittany’s mother and I affirmed. I asked if there was any problem but they assured me there wasn’t any and that they only want to ask a few questions. They asked me for my daughter’s birth date, if she had any distinctive marks and other questions I found weird.

“… They told me my daughter had an accident last night and due to the impact of it, she couldn’t make it,” she recounted.

The suspect, Quincy, was arrested by the Chicago police following the incident.
