Most NDC Supporters To Vote For NPP In Ablekuma North- MCE
Chief Executive of Ablekuma North Municipality, Hon. Kofi Ofori says most the opposition National Democratic Congress supporters will vote for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) come December 7.
According to him, the NDC supporters in the area have acknowledged the massive infrastural developments being carried out by the government in the area and have decided to vote for the NPP to show gratitude.
Speaking on Election 2020 programme on Wontumi Radio/TV, Hon. Ofori said that, election is not about violence rather” it is about achievements – what you have done to motivate the people to vote for you”.
He stressed that both John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo have been President before and for that matter Ghanaians have an easy task to assess them.
“If you look at what Nana Akufo-Addo has done in his three and a half years in office and compare it to that of the NDC’s eight years nobody will tell you to vote for Nana Akufo-Addo.” He noted.
The Ablekuma North MCE recalled that the votes difference between the NPP and the NDC in the 2016 elections was 29,000.
“We are hoping to increase the margin of votes difference and our target is to get 80,000 votes this December .” He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu
According to Hon. Ofori he is expecting the people of Ablekuma North to vote massively fro both r Nana Akufo-Addo and the PC for the area Hon. Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie.
He noted that Ablekuma North has never witnessed election related disturbances , “we will continue to witness peace.” He hoped.
On infrastructural projects in the area which have been provided in the last three and half years, he said his area has had its fair share.
