MMDCEs Selection: Ghanaians Should Praise ‘Visionary Leader’ Akufo-Addo- Dept. Local Govt Minister
The Deputy Local Government Minister, Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah says President Akufo-Addo deserves adores for giving the power to the people to elect the MMDCEs of their choice.
According to Hon. Adjei Mensah Korsah, Akufo-Addo is a visionary leader.
Appearing on Wontumi Radio Morning Show, he deciphered that, Akufo Addo foresaw that giving power to the people to select their MMDCEs will deepen the country’s democracy.
“Akufo-Addo had the power to select the MMDCEs but has given the power to the people,” Hon. Adjei Mensah Korsah said.
However, the Deputy Local Government Minister poured out that he does not side with the minority in parliament calling for reconfirmation of MMDCE nominees at areas having some skirmishes.
According to him, he has not witnessed flaws at any of the areas.
