MMDCEs Nominations: NDC Can’t Dictate For Akufo-Addo- NPP Chairman Fumes
The Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Owusu Sekyere has stated that the opposition NDC cannot dictate for President Akufo-Addo over the nomination of the MMDCEs.
He added, the NDC cannot mount pressure on President Akufo-Addo.
According to the NPP Chairman who was speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, the manifesto of the NPP is different from NDC’s.
“How we conduct our things is different from the NDC that’s why we use $280 million to build three interchanges and they use $260 million to build one interchange,” he mocked.
Chairman Owusu Sekyere appealed to NPP members and supporters to relax on the nominations because the President is focused.
“We have agenda to break the eight years cycle so we cannot nominate any person to be MMDCE.”he said.
