Mid Year Budget Review Will Emphasize On Consolidation- Finance Committee Member Hints
A member of the Finance Committee, Hon. Collins Adomako Mensah has revealed that the 2021 mid year budget review will dwell much on consolidation.
He explained it will be emphasized on how the government is achieving positive results on the measures the put in place in the COVID-19 era.
In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, he indicated that the committee does not expect introduction of new taxes.
Hon. Adomako Mensah said the committee does not anticipate the Finance Minister, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta to request for additional funding.
The MP for Afigya-Kwabre North affirmed that the Finance Minister will give the current state of the economy in the post COVID-19 era.
