Liverpool and Real Madrid legend Michael Owen has praised Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo, describing him as a “top talent” after his decisive goal secured AFC Bournemouth a vital 1-0 Premier League win over Fulham on Monday.
Semenyo’s goal ended Bournemouth’s six-game winless streak and proved to be the match-winner at the Vitality Stadium.
Speaking after the match, Owen expressed his admiration for the 24-year-old, saying, “I love him. If Mohamed Salah hadn’t extended his contract with Liverpool, Semenyo is the player I would’ve wanted to replace him. He’s just brilliant.”
