Medikal’s marriage to Fella Makafui was bound to collapse due to the excessive involvement and use of social media antics, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has opined.
According to the renowned lawyer, the inclusion of social media activities in the marriage of two made it easy to predict that their relationship couldn’t stand the test of time.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, lawyer Ampaw called on Medikal to seek counselling to mend his broken heart.
Fella Makafui and Medikal decided to divorce in January 2024. Despite their agreement to co-parent their daughter, Fella claims Medikal has continued to make baseless accusations on social media.
It is on the back of this accusation that lawyer Ampaw urged Medikal to learn to keep some matters private to himself.
“I have heard Medikal talking on social media, what is happening to you? Broken heart is troubling you. Medical needs psychiatric and serious counselling. Mentally, he is going through broken heart-some cry, others get angry or violent but for Medikal, it is making him talk too much. Whatever you are saying on social media, your child will grow up and come and listen”, he advised.
Lawyer Ampaw pointed out that Medikal could have learnt some relationship from his close pal Shatta Wale who decided not to marry Shatta Michy because he knows the weight it comes with
“When you enter into a relationship, there is confidentiality. An example is a conversation between a client and a lawyer; a doctor and a patient; a pastor and his congregation. We don’t talk about business secrets such as state secret and there is matrimonial secret”, he said.
