Media Assured Of Uninterrupted Coverage Of President’s Inauguration – Hon Hadzide
Deputy Minister of Information Hon Pius Hadzide has assured the media that the government has made adequate preparation to ensure that each media house has unhindered access to covering all the official programmes associated with the inauguration of President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in Accra on Thursday.
Hon Hadzide who was speaking on Wontumi TV/Radio in Kumasi on Monday and monitored by wontumioinline.com said the franchise to telecast the event live has been given to the state broadcaster, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) .
“We Have about 100 television stations operating in the country and all they have to do is to take their feed from the GBC when the major event is rolled out.
According to Hon Hadzide, the Ministry will today Monday meet the media in Accra unveil to them their plans towards the coverage of the event which is the inauguration of the President Nana Akufo-Addo to commence his second term in office
