Maxwell Ofosu Boakye Confirmed As Suame MCE In A
Massive Vote
Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, President nominee for Suame Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region has been confirmed as MCE for the area .
Out of the 26 assembly members, the nominee cum outgoing Presiding member for the assembly won 25 Yes votes at the end of the voting representing 100%.
One absentee was recorded.
The confirmation election was held on Wednesday 29th September 2021 and was supervised by officials of the electoral commission.
In his address Hon Ofosu Boakye said his focus will be centred on how to develop the municipality not on the lines of partisan politics.
Key areas he identified are sanitation, improvement of roads at Suame magazine, beefing of security among others.
