Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has called on Lawyer Martin Kpebu to undergo a psychiatric examination following his recent outbursts that shows he supports coup d’état and not constitutional rule in Ghana.
Cutting Kpebu to size on the ‘Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem’ show which airs on Wontumi TV every Sunday, Lawyer Ampaw stated that it was a lie for Mr. Kpebu to say that a recent survey shows that majority of the citizens want President Akufo-Addo and his vice out of office before the 2024 elections.
“A whole lawyer is saying a government must be forced to hand over power to opposition and for the opposition to govern. He buttress it with article 41…where in that provision does it say the citizen have the right to force the President to leave office by force?”, he wondered.
Lawyer Ampaw noted that he doesn’t even consider Mr. Kpebu a lawyer any longer but rather, an “immature politician”.
“He needs psychiatric treatment. We need to examine his brain. A lawyer like him wants the nation to enter into constitutional crisis”, Lawyer Ampaw said as he reiterated his desire for Kpebu to have his brains examined by a psychiatrist.
