Manso Nkwanta MP Urges Govt To Pay Attention To Constituencies Contributing To National Development
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manso Nkwanta Constituency, Hon. George Obeng Takyi is appealing to the government to pay attention to the communities that provide enough resources for development.
He bemoaned that, some constituencies provide the country with enough resources but are being shirked.
“Some communities help the nation with cocoa, gold and others but lack portable road and water,” Hon. Obeng Takyi said on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show.
He averred that the Government must give some percentage to those areas contributing massively to national development.
“The word decentralization is just a slogan. It doesn’t function,” he fumed.
The Manso Nkwanta MP stressed that citizens in the rural areas must have a fair share of the national cake.
