Man Murdered @ Saltpond; Manhood Removed
An unidentified man has been found dead with his penis removed by his assailants at Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region
The body of the deceased was found by some teenagers who were going to harvest Nim Tree leaves in a building under construction Monday, January 25, 2021, in a bush where he was dumped.
Assembly Member for Saltpond Nkubem Electoral Area, Francis Ekow Dotse narrated that “I was returning from work when I met some schoolchildren who told me there was a dead body here so I called Police and Environmental officers they came to take the body. We are going to announce for families to identify the body. The person is not known in Saltpon or Komante so we want the media to help us identify their families.”
“The deceased could be 50 to 60 years. We noticed there was blood from the nostrils, again it seems he was strangled or clubbed at the neck side, and then again his penis cut off”.
