Mamponghene Commends Gov’t For Fixing Roads
Mamponghene, Daasebre Nana Osei Bonsu II, has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for fixing the poor road networks in the area.
He said that, all the roads are fixed with the exception of a 10km poor road network that has remained unfixed.
Nana Osei Bonsu II, who was speaking with the Vice President of the Republic, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his working visit to the Ashanti Region is hopeful that the 10km poor road network would be fixed soon.
“You have done a great job on roads,” he said.
According to him, anytime he sees Dr. Bawumia he remembers his youthful days in the University, how energetic and vibrant he was.
“If I see a person who is performing so well in his profession, I duff my hat for him.” He noted.
Nana Osei Bonsu II said that, it is impromptu visit to the area but Nananom welcome him and won’t forsake him as the Vice President embark on the campaign tour.
For his part, Dr. Bawumia stated that he is at Mampong to embark on election campaign to tout the good works by the government and to seek for votes.
He said that the campaign is not about violence or disturbances rather the government’s achievements.
