Chairman Wontumi has likened Mr. John Mahama’s presidential ambition to ‘bathing for a swine’ and expecting it to remain clean for the rest of its life.
He concludes that the above scenario is never achievable and supporting Mr. Mahama is equal to it.
Speaking to Wontumionline.com on the back of a call by former President Mahama to members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to work harder towards returning to power in 2024, Chairman Wontumi stated that it was “criminal” for a voter to consider Mr. Mahama in future.
According to the NPP Chairman, when Mr. Mahama was President in 2012 to 2016, he demonstrated his incompetence and was never ready to learn.
Chairman Wontumi explained that John Mahama’s government gave priority to cooking dubious deals to benefit only his family and friends.
“When businesses were on their kneels, John Mahama increased the price of everything without showing care. His government had dumsor as a policy and crippling businesses was his main motive, so today if such dubious man comes to you for vote, you have to know he would do worse when he gets the power”, Chairman Wontumi said.
He reiterated that giving John Mahama your vote is equal to bathing to a swine who sleeps next to mud.
