Make Good Use Of Talk Tax Reduction- Nana Oteatuoso To Ghanaians

Akyem Royal Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has called on Ghanaians especially, students to make good use of the talk tax which the government has reduced from 9% to 5%.

According to him the reduction of the talk tax will aid particularly, Ghanaian students as they learn via zoom since hall lectures have been suspended because of the COVID-19.

“KNUST last fortnight started their Masters orientation programme via zoom and it was equally like receiving lectures in the classroom.” He told Wontumi Radio and TV audience when he appeared on Wontumi Morning Show on Thursday Morning.

Nana Oteatuoso indicated that the use of data has become indispensable because the world has advanced to a stage where digitization has become an integral part of every human activity with mobile money transactions becoming almost a way of life of every Ghanaian.

The Akyem Royal asked Ghanaians to compare the usage of call credit and the data after making calls to that of the time when there was no reduction of the talk tax to appraise themselves of the cost reduction.

He called on Ghanaians to commend Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for what he has done because “he is a fulfilling President unlike a certain former President.”
