Majority Caucus Is Frustrated Because There Is No “Job” For Them- Minority Leader

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has raised concerns about the frustration of the Majority caucus due to President John Mahama’s decision not to appoint some MPs to ministerial positions.

According to Afenyo-Markin, this has led to frustration among the affected MPs, ultimately affecting their productivity in Parliament.

Afenyo-Markin expressed his concerns during his remarks following President Mahama’s State of the Nation address on Thursday.

It is widely known that some NDC MPs who actively campaigned for the party prior to the elections, including notable names like Isaac Adongo, Dr. Zenator Agyemang Rawlings, and James Agalga, were overlooked for ministerial appointments.

This perceived snub has reportedly led to discontent among the affected lawmakers, with potential implications for the Majority caucus’s overall performance.
