A network of churches and ministry leaders (Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) in collaboration with the Christian Council of Churches, Balm of Gilead Alternative Clinic and I Care International (Center for Clinical Pastoral Education) for Church Leaders, Ministers, Elders, and Institutional Heads in the Christian faith) are aiming to put on the “largest Christian Health Symposium” in history across dozens of Christian Leaders and Workers next December in a movement that will culminate on Tuesday Dec. 5 2023.
The health symposium which has never been seen before, according to organizers is organized by local churches, religious leaders and ministries in partnership with institutions and leaders.
So far, the organizers say they have partner ministries, Companies lined up to lead and organize the events. But they are calling on churches around Kumasi and it environs to help organize the maiden edition of the programme
HEALTH: STEWARDSHIP OF THE BODY.’ This maiden health symposium is a timely
intervention organized under the auspices of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic
Council (GPCC) in collaboration with the Christian Council of Churches, Balm of Gilead
Alternative Clinic and I Care International (Center for Clinical Pastoral Education) for
Church Leaders, Ministers, Elders, and Institutional Heads in the Christian faith.
The program seeks to address some sensitive health-related matters of great concern to Church leaders, Ministers, Elders and Institutional Heads and their impact in the various aspects of their lives, spanning from the Physical, Spiritual, Socio-economic to Emotional (Mental) perspectives of their lives. Speakers for the program include Aps. Prof Opoku Onyinah, Rtd (Immediate Past Chairman, The Church of Pentecost), Prof. Ochere Addai-Mensah (CEO,Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital), Rev. Dr. Douglas Frempong (General Overseer, Center for Christian Outreach Ministries & Planning Committee Chairman, Kumasi Council of Christian Churches), Eld. Ebenezer Acheampong (Deputy PEMEM Director, The Church of Pentecost), Dr. Kwesi Gyeni Annor (Occupational Health Manager, AngloGold Ashanti Limited), Eld. Dr. Edmund Arthur (CEO, Balm of Gilead Clinic), Rev. Dr. Seth Joejoe Ninkarb, PhD (I Care International, Center for Clinical Pastoral Education).
The registration fee for the symposium is only two hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200) per person and three hundred and fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 350) for couple, and the package for the symposium include:
