An aide to former President John Mahama who used ghost names to steal and buy plush houses at East legon has been named and shamed by the Bono regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party.
Kwame Baffoe Abronye named Daniel Duku the former CEO of Venture Capital Trust Fund and a close aide to Mr. Mahama as the man who used the fraudulent means to acquire expensive properties at East Legon.
The NPP Chairman mentioned on the Nsempa Fie on Wontumi TV that through the NIB’s investigations, they saw fake names created by former President John Mahama’s aide had been granted loans.
“He (Daniel Duku) created mobile money numbers and took back all the loans he credited to the ghost names. We have traced and retrieved all the properties he acquired at East Legon. He was John Mahama’s aide when he was Vice President”, Abronye said.
