Out of insubordination, former President John Mahama left office with six (6) official state vehicles without consulting President Akufo-Addo’s government, Mr. David Boakye has revealed.
The well-equipped political researcher who is also the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Bono East regional secretary, stated on Wontumi TV that the constitution only provides for four (4) cars for a retiring president, but Mr. Mahama circumvented the order and took home 6.
“Mahama went home with 6 cars without the approval of government. He also chose the house he wanted to keep”, David Boakye said on TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
He also mentioned that instead of working with 4 staff which the state pays through the controller and accountant general, Mr. Mahama has chosen to work with 12 and is misinforming the general public that he caters for their salaries personally.
