Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo is calling on former President John Mahama to debate vice President Bawumia and explain to Ghanaians what his confusing 24 hour economy proposal means.
The Chief Executive Officer for Public Sector Reforms stated that the confusion surrounding the 24 hour economy proposal doesn’t make it attractive like digital agenda being championed by Bawumia.
In an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Kusi Boafo advised Mr. Mahama not to run away from debating Bawumia.
“He knows he will be defeated by Bawumia, so he is finding an excuse to run away”, Mr. Kusi Boafo said as he exposed the intentions of Mr. Mahama.
“Take Mahama’s 24 hour economy and take Bawumia’s digital proposal. They have to debate for us to make an informed decision. They are already campaigning so we must put them behind a podium to debate”, he said.
He continued “Most of us don’t understand his 24 economy- his own people are saying it means drinking ‘pito’, eating fufu and waakye or rearing of jata and ɔsebɔ. Which country exports ɔsebɔ in this world?”
