Mahama Planned Meeting With NDC Chairmen, Gave Them Money To Pay For His GH¢500K Filing Fee- Chairman Wontumi

Chairman Wotnumi Storms Mahama’s Backyard Demands 100% Votes For Bawumia

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has exposed Mr. John Mahama for conniving and giving an amount of GHC 500,000 to some Greater Accra Chairmen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to sponsor his presidential campaign.

The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi told Wontumionline.com that Mr. John Mahama had met the NDC Chairmen in secret and planned with them to come out and “lie” to their party that they were going to pay for his filing fee.

According to Chairman Wontumi, Mr. Mahama planned the optics with some of the Chairmen because has realized that his popularity in the NDC is being threatened by Dr. Duffour and others who have expressed interest to contest him.

“It was all planned. None of the NDC Chairmen have GHC500,000 to sponsor John Mahama. They are lazy men who don’t do anything for a living. They have been groomed to be lazy and only want political power to steal from the nation. How can such lazy men raise GH¢500,000? The money was given to them by Mahama himself because he has illegal money he made when he was in power to spend”, Chairman Wontumi said.

Some constituency Chairmen of NDC in the Greater Accra Region have declared their support and endorsement for Mr. John Dramani Mahama, should he decide to contest the party’s presidential primaries.

On Wednesday, the Greater Accra Chairmen Caucus during a courtesy call on Mr. Mahama asked him to lead the party to the 2024 election.

According to the thirty-three (33) chairmen, it is only Mr. Mahama who can lead and win the elections for the NDC in 2024.

The caucus, led by Dome Kwabenya Chairman, Isaac Lamptey, has promised that they will raise and pay the filing fee of GH¢500,000 for Mr. Mahama to contest the primaries.

But Chairman Wontumi observed that it was a scam planned by Mr. Mahama and Isaac Lamptey.
