Mahama Placed Ghana At ICU, Akufo-Addo Came To Discharge Us- Aide To Chief of Staff
Frank Asiedu Bekoe

The Director of Political Affairs at the Presidency, Mr. Frank Asiedu Bekoe, has stated that Ghana under former President John Mahama was sick and placed under an intensive care unit (ICU) before President Akufo-Addo took over.

“Mahama placed the entire Ghana on ICU but Nana Akufo-Addo ensured we were discharged”, Mr. Bekoe popularly known as Protozoa said.

The Special aide to the Chief of Staff, Hon. Frema Opare, stated on Wontumi TV that President Akufo-Addo’s performance in government, towers that of his predecessor who was only good at creating unemployment for the youth.

On the issue of job creation, he commented that from 2017 to 2020, the government of President Akufo-Addo, has employed 5000 soldiers, 6000 police officers and 2000 fire service workers.

According to Frank Asiedu Bekoe when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took over from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Frema Opare held a meeting with him and expressed distress of the unemployment situation the Mahama led government had left behind.

He noted that Mr. John Mahama could only create an opportunity for 320 youth to be employed in the Ghana Immigration Service compared to the 3000 officers President Akufo-Addo has paved way for.

Mr. Frank Asiedu Bekoe described former President Mahama as “a man who couldn’t govern Ghana well so he took the nation to IMF for policy credibility.  He indirectly told the whites that he couldn’t govern so they should takeover.”
