Lawyer George Oppong has described former President John Mahama as a weak leader following his inability to resolve the impasse between George Opare Addo and Sammy Gyamfi.
The seasoned lawyer who spoke on Wontumi TV established that if Mr. Mahama commanded respect in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he would have been able to sit with both his National Youth Organizer and Communication Officer in a meeting and resolved the conflict between them.
He therefore slammed a decision by the former President to splash photos he took separately with the two men to create an impression he has resolved the conflict between them. Lawyer George Oppong suggested that it would have been better for Mr. Mahama to put the two men in one picture and splash it rather than the separate pictures he posted.
“He showed us picture of him and Sammy. Then he showed us that of Pablo but he was unable to show us a picture of all three…what was the essence of the meetings?”
He continued that the outcome of the meeting between Mr. Mahama and the two national executives of the NDC was useless.
“It is not going to work because Pablo (George Opare Addo) knows Mahama has given money to his opponents. He doesn’t trust him”, he simply put.
Lawyer George Oppong stated that Mr. Mahama doesn’t act like elderly men are supposed to.
“He is biased and not neutral by what he does”, he said.
