A member of the NPP communications team, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi has asserted that the reason for which former President speaks against Digitalization is because he condones corruption.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV, he noted that the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama continues to downplay the essence digitalization because he knows that one of the effective tools or instruments for fighting corruption is digitalization which he’s not ready to fight.
“Mahama is not ready to fight corruption and thus, he’s always against anything that fights corruption. If not, he wouldn’t have downplayed the important of digitalization which is being championed by the Vice President, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. Digitalization brings transparency and he’s very much aware of that”, he said.
“One of the things Former President Agyekum Kuffour spoke about at the #BawumiaSpeaks was digitalization.
If John Agyekum Kuffour is older than John Dramani Mahama but appreciates digitalization, then this should tell us as Ghanaians, that he has an agenda. He’s refusing to understand because he’s corrupt”, he added.
