The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has said that former President John Mahama has been eating meals prepared for “dogs” at home.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi was reacting to comments by Mr. Mahama that foods being served in the various Senior High Schools (SHSs) were poor in nature and meant for dogs.
“Today, if you go to see the kind of food the children are eating in the schools…you shudder to serve such food to your dogs at home,” Mr. Mahama told delegates and party members in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency during his campaign tour in the Central region.
Angered by the “unpresidential” comment made by Mr. Mahama, Chairman Wontumi informed Wontumionline.com that “I think Lordina Mahama serves Mahama dog food at home. He doesn’t eat balanced diet meant for human beings so when he speaks you can tell the animal family he belongs to.”
Chairman Wontumi continued that “he is suffering from political dementia and isn’t happy about the progress free SHS has made. He has always been against it so he is now talking about the food the children are eating at school which is rather rich in nutrients”.
