There are levels to this game!
Shatta Wale has always anointed himself as the saviour of Ghana music, the only proper artiste around.
However, his career has now taken a nosedive as he cannot make news without creating controversy.
His latest attempt at trending was to fight the CEO of the 3Music Awards, Abu Sadiq.
Shatta Wale rubbished the same 3Music Awards that he burst into tears for winning some years back.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie has been announced as the next artiste to be interviewed by the Recording Academy.
Sarkodie is set to make his debut on Grammy.com in an interview with the ‘Herbal Tea and White Sofas’ show.
The news was announced on Twitter by Richardine Bartee, a member of the Grammys Recording Academy.
She wrote: “Ghana, @sarkodie makes his http://GRAMMY.com debut with a ‘Herbal Tea & White Sofas’ interview! It will be live on the @RecordingAcad ‘s YouTube September 15, at 10 AM PST/5 PM GMT and pushed out on http://GRAMMY.com later that day. Stay tuned! SparklesFlag of Ghana #SarkodieXGRAMMYs”
She shared a short clip of the upcoming interview, which would air tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15th.
Sark Nation fans have already taken the issue ‘world cup’, as we say down here.
They are pointing out that there are levels to this – their king is appearing on the Grammys meanwhile Wale is down here fighting for fake awards.
Can’t disagree with them here- Sark is currently making waves whilst Wale is fighting Sadiq on radio, alleging awards he won were fraudulently handed out.
Levels, indeed.
