“Let’s Protect Our Gains And Achievements To Win The Elections”- Isaac Asiamah To NPP Members

Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua constituency who doubles as Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah, has called on all NPP party faithful to protect the party’s gains and achievements to which will propel them to win the December elections.

According to him in the 2008 elections, the NPP achieved a lot but due to “back biting and internal sabotge, the party couldn’t recapture power.”

Addressing the gathering at the Ashanti NPP Youth Campaign Launch at Georgia Hotel in Kumasi on Sunday and monitored by wontumionline.com, he regretted that, since the party wasn’t able to recapture power in 2008 the country’s progress suffered stagnation , “but we are back arranging things for the country to develop.”He said.

According to Hon Asiamah, all the achievements made by the government of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, in the social services sector were destroyed by the NDC and that after taking over the reigns of government the NPP’s administration under Nana Akufo-Addo had to secure funding to rehabilitate those abandoned projects.

On the achievements of the government since it assumed office in 2017 He disclosed that, ten stadia are being built across the country.

According to Hon.. Asiamah, in the country’s history there is no policy that has been of help to many and to place the country on the path of a better future than the free SHS.

He called on the NPP Youth to campaign vigorously for the party so that the NDC cannot deceive Ghanaians and come back to power anymore..

“I’m expecting the Ashanti Region to take the lead in the accumulation of huge figures in this year’s election . It’s therefore incumbent on the Youth Organizers to work hard by focusing on grassroots campaign strategies all over the region. You must go from house to house and explain issues based on our impressive records for the electorate to understand them.” Hon. Asiamah said
