The Member of Parliament(MP) for Oforikrom, Hon. Emmanuel Marfo has urged leaders of the party to focus much more on grooming successors of the various positions in the party.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, Hon. Marfo explained that “this has become necessary to ensure that there will always be capable successors to replace any executive when the need arises. I believe in succession- we should always be on the lookout for such people, we shouldn’t wait till there’s a vacancy before we search for replacements”.
Hon. Marfo advised the newly elected National Executives of the party to be bold and take decisive measures to ensure the party emerges victorious, stressing that if the executives are able to unify the party members and act as a watchdog to the government, it will bring back the love of the party, which will lead to its victory.
According to him, doing away with factionalism with regards to the electing of a flagbearer should be the prime concern of the executives so that whoever emerges the winner would have total support from the rank and file of the party, which will lead to the party’s victory in the 2024 general elections.
