Parliamentary candidate hopeful on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), in New Juaben, Philip Twum Yeboah has advised the party to ensure that it focuses on ways to break-the-eight year jinx in the 2024 elections.
“I only have one advise to give Ghanaians and NPP, we should avoid insults and fights prior and during the elections, we only need to focus on party unity and to break-the-eight-year jinx. Therefore, ways to break the eight should be only concern and focus…”, he said.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, he noted that the party needs to focus on legitimate ways to win the 2024 elections. Once Kennedy Agyapong has emphatically stated that the Presidential primaries was held on a free and fair grounds. Then, automatically all his supporters must equally rally behind the elected flagbearer, so NPP emerges victorious in 2024.
“We should allow the system to choose a candidate for us, by so doing, there will be peace and unity. we shouldn’t work for our own interest by campaigning against someone because the person did same to us… this will go a long way to affect the party”, he added.
