Launching Of Horse Patrol To Deter Crime And Detection A Good Initiative- Security Expert
A Security Analyst, Alhaji Irbad Ibrahim has lauded Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare for introducing horse operation to prevent crime and detection.
He said, it is a good initiative and for that matter Ghanaians should embrace it.
Irbad Ibrahim said on Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Friday that riding on horseback is a beautiful spectacle, “and to find police patrolling on them will augment the relationship between the police and the civilians.”
According to him, the greatest challenge apart from weapons, the police also need public confidence.
“Dr. Dampare wants to use the training he acquired to transform the Ghana police,” he stated.
Irbad Ibrahim urged Ghanaians to support the Acting IGP to deliver his mandate.
