Kwesi Nyantakyi’s Life Time  Ban Reduced To 12 years

The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has reduced FIFA’s lifetime ban on former Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi to twelve (12) years.

According to Kumasi-Based FM, the verdict was delivered to FIFA and the astute football administrator.
In October 2018, FIFA handed a lifetime ban from all football related activities to former CAF first vice president, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi after four-month investigation by the Fifa Ethics Committee.
Mr. Nyantakyi was captured taking bribes in a video exposé dubbed #Number12 which was compiled by Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
He was captured on videos negotiating a deal with businessmen and accepting a bribe of $65,000 to help establish an oil business in his native country.
Nyantakyi was also been fined $500,000 by FIFA
