Kwame Tanko Is An Ingrate, I Give Him Money Every Month – Chairman Wontumi Fumes
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has spat red on ABN Morning Show Host, Kwame Tanko for loud mouthing him on the just held December 7 election that ended successfully with President Akufo-Addo maintaining his status.
Kwame Tanko on Monday, 14/12/2020 used his Kumasi based Angel FM to spew and unguardedly chastised the popular Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP saying he should resign his position after he accumulated for himself all major contracts.
But speaking on Wontumi TV/Radio on phone from Accra, Chairman Wontumi fumed about the unfortified commentary from the Journalist describing him as ungrateful.
“Kwame Tanko is very ungrateful and he must be careful with what he does or say about me. I give him money every month yet he plays double standard with the NPP and the NDC, ”he roared.
Chairman Wontumi expressed disgust about the unshielded vituperation of Kwame Tanko but said he was not surprise because he is aware of his commitment to the NDC who are yearning him to do the abominable.
“You came to meet me in Kumasi and I give you money every month even though I know you take money from me and the NDC as well. You don’t bite the finger that feeds you,” he reiterated.
The Ashanti Governor explained that every contract in his name from government was acquired through diligence and not because he is a party Chairman.
“Tell Kwame Tanko all my contracts were through bidding and even with that I used my own sweated money to fund and no one has paid me for that. So what’s he talking about?, he asked.
