Kwadwo Baah Agyeman Donates 50bags of Cement Towards Teachers Project.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Digital Centers Limited (GDCL), Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyeman has donated 50 bags of cement to support the construction of a Teachers Quarters for the Wioso community in the Asante Akyem North District.

The gesture is to enable the community finish the project it has started on time.

In a brief presentation ceremony during a durbar at Wioso, Hon Agyeman said the community deserves to have a place for teachers who are posted to teach children in the area.

“I believe Wioso should have had this project earlier than now but it is good that collectively we have shown commitment to ensuring it is done this year”, the CEO stated.

Hon Baah Agyeman reiterated his relationship and the commitment to the development of the community.

He said his love for the Wioso Community predates his days when he served as Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North.

The GDCL CEO noted that the Wioso CHPS compound which he built is an undeniable  confirmation of his commitment to the development of the community.

“My modest contribution recently was to assist in the recruitment of some Wioso youth into the Community Policing module”, Hon Agyeman stated.

Appeal:
The CEO humbly requested Nananom and the opinion leaders to produce two students from both sexes within the community to offer them Digital Skill Training.

This, he noted would enable them acquire the knowledge and skill needed to fit into the world of digital transformation.

He stated that his agenda is to ensure youth of Ghana particularly those in Asante Akyem North become technologically alert in terms digital stuff and advancements.

Appreciation:
Nana Asiedu Mensah, Woraponso Dikro who represented the Wiosohene, Nana Ofori Agyei II, thanked the GDCL CEO for the gesture.

He urged other well to do citizens of Wioso and Agogo to emulate the gesture by the former MP and help with developmental projects.

Assembly Member for the Wioso Electoral area, Hon Bismark Addo commended Hon Baah Agyeman for showing commitment to the development of the community.

“I am happy that despite his busy schedule and commitment to many projects Hon Kwadwo Baah Agyeman has found time to come and to donate 50bags of cement just to help us complete this teachers quarters project on time”, the Assembly member stated.
