The head of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, is warning the minority NDC MPs to expect their salaries to be delayed if they would come to terms and help the sitting government pass the E-levy presented to Parliament.
“If you won’t pass E-levy then money to pay your salary would not come as expected”, Mr. Kusi Boafo said as he addressed the controversial stance taken the NDC MPs.
He also took a swipe at them for refusing to join government appointees in accepting a pay cut in their salaries.
According to him, if the NDC MPs would not sacrifice for the nation, then government has to ensure certain allowances and privileges given to them are cut off.
“If you as an MP can’t sacrifice then who should do that for you? They don’t care about the poor”, Mr. Kusi Boafo said.
