The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta will today present the 2022 Mid-year budget review before Parliament.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo, has highlighted some key items he is looking forward to seeing Ken Ofori Atta will hit on.
Kusi Boafo says the global economy has been debilitated and has led to the rise in inflation so the Finance Minister should explain to Ghanaians.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Monday, he said that he expects the Finance Minister to let Ghanaians know about the countries that have severely suffered from the global hardship.
Kusi Boafo said he further expects Ken Ofori- Atta to hit on Ghana’s engagement with the IMF.
“He should let Ghanaians know the pros and cons of the acquisition of the Electronic Transaction Levy popularly known as E-levy,” he said
He stressed that he deduces Ken Ofori-Atta will touch on the Cost Of Living Allowance(COLA) and the salary increment.
The CEO of the Public Sector Reforms said probably there will be a relief for the vulnerable in the budget review.
