Kumericans To Take COVID-19 Jab Tomorrow- GHS Director
The Director of Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye has said that, people in the Kumasi Metropolis would take the COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow, 2nd March, 2021.
He indicated that, the vaccination centers would be published for the people to know where to take their jab.
Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show on early Monday morning, Dr. Kumah said that, some high profile persons in the Metropolis would take their vaccines to give hope and assurance to the people.
According to him, the vaccinators will only ask for the age, residence, telephone numbers etc before one would be vaccinated.
He said that, identification card would be issued for records keeping.
“Everybody would be vaccinated. Whether you have been infected with the virus before or not,” he said.
The Director stressed that, “taking the vaccine does not mean that we should let our guard down.”
