Two aspirants have pulled out of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Primaries ahead of the Kumawu by-election.
According to Research and Election Officer for the NPP in Ashanti Region, Nana Kofi Badu, Philip Yaw Baah and Lawyer Edward Osei are the two aspirants who have bowed out.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Thursday he said the vetting committee did not disqualify any candidate.
“We have done the notice of poll so six candidates will be contested.”
Nana Kofi Badu said the album and every materials are ready for the election on Sunday, April, 23rd 2023.
