Begin In January- Akufo-Addo Reveals

 

President Akufo-Addo has revealed that, the Kumasi International Airport is 77% complete.

According to him, the airport will begin its first test in January 2022.

President Akufo-Addo made this known when he paid a courtesy call to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on day one of his tour of the Ashanti Region.

He emphasized that the projects going on in the Region is an indication that, the electorate have not wasted their votes.

According to him, Asanteman has witnessed unique road construction under his tenure and that of the Asantehene.

Akufo-Addo, however, lauded Asanteman for the massive votes they gave him in the 2020 general elections.

“I’m grateful to Asanteman for the votes they gave me. If not Asanteman I wouldn’t be standing here,” he told Otumfuo and monitored by Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw.
