Ksi: YEA Distributes Electrical Gadgets To Apprentices
Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has distributed sewing machines, mobile phones and clippers to apprentices in the Ashanti Region.
Distributing the gadgets to the apprentices, Margaret Owusu, Deputy Ashanti Regional NADMO Director said that some apprentices find it difficult to secure a place and get machines to work after graduating from the informal education.
She told Wontumionline.com that, for some time past, the University graduates were unemployed but due to the “quality governance” of Nana Akufo-Addo, the predicament has been solved.
Mad. Margaret Owusu noted that, the foundation of every country lies solely on the youth and for that matter Nana Akufo-Addo and his Ministers are committed to the transformation of the youth.
She, however admonished the beneficiaries to make good use of the gadgets so that it will be fruitful for them.
She urged them to announce the good work the NPP and the YEA headed by Lawyer Justin Kodua are doing to support the Ghanaian youth.
“The modern youth doesn’t want to engage in informal education so it is your core mandate to let them know the benefits they will acquire when they engage in it.” She appealed
For his part, the Ashanti Regional NADMO Director, Kwabena Nsenkyire urged the apprentices not to be discouraged for engaging in informal education because they would graduate and soon become masters.
“You must make good use of the gadgets and be honest to your customers.”
Adding his voice, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the NPP, Dr. Kwasi Kyei Darkwah also said that, the distribution of the electrical gadgets are tips of the iceberg saying that more are yet to come.
According to him, it is not those who didn’t prosper in life that engage in informal education.
“When you work with small you reap a lot of benefits. You must be content with these and publicize the good work of Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP government to the public.” He told the apprentices
Dr. Kwasi Kyei said that, Nana Akufo-Addo has massive vision for the Ghanaian youth and if he is granted another four years, he will do more for the youth.
