Ksi: Opoo Man Appeals To City Authorities To Compensate Residents Of Sokoban-Krofrom To Pave Way For Road Construction
A former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Presiding Member, Mr. Abraham Boadi popularly known as ‘Opoo Man’ has called on city authorities to negotiate and compensate the residents of Sokoban-Krofrom to pave way for the construction of a dual carriage road in the area.
He said that, because the residents have not been compensated, the road construction has been delayed.
“One can be in traffic for more than an hour because of the poor road network.” He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV.
Opoo Man expressed high hope in Hon. Simon Osei Mensah who has been renominated as the Ashanti Regional Minister to address the issue after approved by the Parliamentary vetting committee.
However, the former Nhyiaeso Assembly Member appealed to the NPP Chairmen, Executives and others to pay attention to the constituencies as far as election 2024 is concerned.
“We have to win the 2024 elections convincingly.” He said.
He emphaiszed that, the party executives at Nhyiaeso Constituency should also be a united front as Polling Station Executives election would be held soon.
“The complains, hullabaloo and the backbiting will not help the party to achieve its goal. We should all be united.” He urged
