KOSS Homicide Case Adjourned To November 22

The Konongo District Court, in the Ashanti Region has adjourned the case involving five students of the Konongo Odumase Senior High School in connection with the death of the first-year male student to Novermber 22.

The suspects were sent to a Juvenile Detention Center at Juaso in the Asante Akim South Municipality.

The first accused person has been charged provisionally with murder, while the four others were charged with abetment to commit a crime.

Today in court the lawyer for the stidents Richard du Nyarko took on the Ghana Police Service for publishing the details of the juvenile’s on their official facebook page, an act he described as a breach of the juvenile justice act.

The students are standing trial for the murder of their colleague.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspects are form 2 students.
