KOSS Headmaster, Others In A Crunch Meeting On Alleged Murder Of Student
The Headmaster of Konongo Odumase Senior High School (KOSS) Dr. Benjamin Kwaku Baah, some academic staff and student leaders this afternoon started a crunch meeting on the tragic death of a student of the school.
The sad incident occurred Friday night following a scuffle.
The meeting is taking place on the school compound and even though Dr Baah would not preempt the outcome it is strongly suspected that decisions would be taken on how to officially break the news to the family of the late student.
Also the kind of cooperation the police may need from the authorities to be able to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter is likely to feature on the agenda.
In a brief interview with Wontumi online, Dr Baah confirmed the Friday night incident during which a second-year student allegedly stabbed a form one year student with scissors leading to his death.
Wontumi Radio broke the news of the incident last night but could not readily identify both the deceased and the suspect.
Unconfirmed reports disclosed that the incident happened following a scuffle between the deceased and the suspect in one of the dormitories.
The injured suffered a deep wound in the rib and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Konogo Government Hospital where he was rushed to by some students of the school.
