Kofi Adams Urges Black Stars To Prove Their Quality Against Chad

Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has rallied the Black Stars to display their talent and assert their dominance as they gear up for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Chad.

Ghana’s national team is set to play two key matches during the March international break—first against Chad on March 21, followed by a clash with Madagascar on March 24—as part of their journey toward securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking to the media ahead of the fixtures, Kofi Adams encouraged the players to believe in themselves and prove their quality on the pitch.

“I just told the players that there is nobody better than them on this African continent. So they should know that they are good and they must get out there to show that goodness on the field of play,” he said.

The Black Stars kicked off their preparations on Monday with an initial training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, attended by nine players.

The remaining squad members are expected to join camp today as they finalize their preparations for the upcoming matches.
